More patients die as suffocating siege of Gaza continues

More victims are falling down due to the illegitimate and criminal siege imposed by Israel on the Gaza Strip. The number of dead patients has risen up to 104 in the past two days.

Muhammad Baroud, 69, died due to shortage of medications in the Gaza hospital. He was suffering from heart disease and there are no enough medications available in Gaza.

The other patient was Shafeeq Abu Al kas, he was not able to get out for treatment. Abu Al kas was having no passport and he was not allowed to be out for a surgery.

Israeli occupation has allowed some medical stuff and medications to get into Gaza lately. Yet, the amount of those stuff still not enough for 1.5 million people. There are many sorts of strongly needed medicine are not available in Gaza

As for the hospitals in Gaza, several medical machines are out of order. Israeli is not allowing spare parts and maintenance parts to get to Gaza.

Popular Committee Against Siege (PCAS) has called upon reopening the crossing points in Gaza Strip to end the ongoing death toll.

PCAS started negotiating with some parts in this respect. “we contacted some sides regarding crossing points. We have got positive reactions. Lately, we have coordinated with some Turkish Ngo’s to get some of injuries to Turkey” spoksman of PCAS, Ramy Abdu.
